Usually, you can make most common types of transactions at a shared branch. However, services and transaction amounts may be limited or vary per shared branch location, so call before you visit to verify they can process your transaction.

Membership

We proudly serve sworn and civilian law enforcement professionals of federal, state, county, and city agencies in Southern California.  Immediate family members, retirees, volunteers, and others are also eligible for membership. See details here.

Yes! If you are an LAPFCU member, your immediate family members also qualify for membership. See details here.

It's easy to apply for membership online at lapfcu.org/join, over the phone, or at one of our branches! 

A driver’s license or valid government ID is needed to complete the membership application.

Your MEMBER NUMBER differentiates you from another member. Your ACCOUNT NUMBER is the number assigned to your different accounts (i.e. savings, checking, money market, etc.).

  1. Log in to digital banking
  2. Go to Services tab
  3. Under Account Services, click eStatements
  4. Click Enrollment tab (your member number appears next to "Monthly Statements")

Credit Cards & Debit Cards

The charge is 1% fee for foreign transactions in non U.S currency and 0.8% fee for foreign transactions in U.S dollars. 

Call the applicable number below to dispute a transaction or make a claim.

To ensure secure and smooth card transactions during your trip, please submit a travel notification.
  1. Log in to mobile or online banking.
  2. Go to My Cards > Card Controls.
  3. Select Travel Notifications (at the bottom).
  4. Enter your travel details and click Submit.

Yes, you can temporarily deactivate your credit and debit card in case it’s lost or stolen using Card Controls, which can be accessed in online and mobile banking.

Go to My Cards tab > Click Card Controls 

You can access up to 18 months of past statements in online banking. If you need older statements, contact us for assistance.

Digital Banking

Change your statement enrollment selection.

To Enroll:

  1. Go to the Services tab.
  2. Under Account Services, select e-Statements.
  3. Go to the Enrollment tab and choose Electronic.

Send us a travel notification from the app or in online banking. LAPFCU App > Cards > Travel Notification Request or Online banking > Services.

When you do not log in to online or mobile banking for 6 months, we deactivate your access as a security precaution. We will send you notices before this happens. Once you are deactivated, you will need to re-enroll. For assistance, call us at (877) 695-2732.

Loans

Yes, you can use Quick Pay to make one-time or recurring payments, on your LAPFCU loan, from another financial institution. Access Quick Pay in online and mobile banking.

Log in > Go to Transfers & Payments tab > Quick Pay

We do not offer this service at this time. Please contact us at (877) 695-2732 or start a secure chat with us in online or mobile banking for assistance.  

Transfers

Yes. You can transfer funds to and from outside accounts with LAPFCU.

Log in to digital banking > Click on Transfers & Payments tab > Under Transfers, click Transfer Money

Domestic Incoming Wire/Funds Transfer Instructions to LAPFCU

To process your wire transfer, provide the following information:

  1. Institution’s Name: Los Angeles Police FCU
  2. Institution’s Address: 16150 Sherman Way Van Nuys, CA 91406
  3. ABA Routing Number: 322078493
  4. Beneficiary’s Name: Member’s name (must match our records)
  5. Beneficiary’s Account: Member’s full account number (must match our records)
  6. Beneficiary’s Address: Member’s address
  7. Beneficiary Reference: Include any special instructions

IMPORTANT

  • Fee: $15.00 per incoming wire transfer
  • Incoming wires can only be sent to savings or checking accounts
  • To make a loan payment, include special instructions or call us for assistance
