Eligibility

We welcome Southern California sworn and civilian law enforcement professionals and their families.

Membership Guidelines

You may join LAPFCU if you're part of an eligible group (see below) or an immediate family member of a current member.
 

  • Federal, state, county, and municipal law enforcement agency employees who work in these counties:
     
    • Imperial
    • Kern
    • Los Angeles
    • Orange
    • Riverside
    • San Bernardino
    • San Diego
    • San Luis Obispo
    • Santa Barbara
    • Ventura County
  • Cadets and Explorers
    • If under 18 years old, must present a birth certificate, Social Security card, or school ID.
    • If under 18 years old and requesting a checking account or ATM/debit card, an adult co-signer is required.
  • Board members, unpaid officials, and volunteers of nonprofit organizations that support law enforcement agencies in the listed counties.
  • LAPFCU employees and family1 or household2 members, including spouses of deceased LAPFCU members; LAPFCU retirees, pensioners or annuitants; corporate/legal entities in this charter; volunteers; and related organizations.



Once you become a member, your immediate family members are eligible to join.
