When your paycheck is automatically deposited to LAPFCU, we post it up to two days before your normal payday—based on when we receive it from your employer.

You get your paycheck up to two days early! Early Payday is automatic, secure, and paperless—no branch visits or security risks. You can also transfer funds easily between LAPFCU accounts.

Only your paychecks qualify. Payroll allocations (money from your paycheck distributed to different accounts) will not post early—they’ll continue to post on the last business day of the month for LAFPP and LACERS, and on the current biweekly schedule for LASD.

No, Early Payday doesn’t change any of your scheduled payment dates. Pre-authorized transactions, like payroll splits or automatic bill payments, will still happen on the dates you originally set.

No. Once your paycheck is directly deposited to LAPFCU, you’re automatically enrolled in Early Payday.
