Skip a Payment Program

Get financial relief when you need it most

With LAPFCU’s Skip-a-Payment¹ program, you can skip up to two eligible loan payments per year to give your budget the breathing room it needs. This simple option offers help when you need it most, whether for unexpected bills, seasonal expenses, or other reasons.

• Skip one qualifying auto or personal loan payment every six months.
• Choose the month you’d like to skip a payment (you MUST notify us in advance).
• Low $15 fee for each skipped payment, deducted from your LAPFCU account.

Please note: Personal lines of credit, home equity lines of credit, and mortgage loans are not eligible.

To Skip a Loan Payment:

1. Log in to our app or online banking
2. Go to Transfers & Payments > Skip-A-Pay (under Payments).
3. Choose your eligible LAPFCU loans and the month(s) you’d like to skip.
